Proof of identity

Send one valid document that shows your full name, with all four corners in the photo or scan.

  • Passport
  • National identity card
  • Driving licence

Proof of address

Send one document that shows your full name and your home address.

  • Utility bill
  • Bank statement

Either must be dated within six months of the day you send it.

One document cannot serve as both proofs. Your proof of address must be a different document from your proof of identity.

If a document is refused

If a document is refused, the client area tells you why, and you can send a clearer copy or a different document. The most common reasons are:

  • A blurred photo or a cut-off corner
  • A document that has expired
  • A name or an address that does not match your registration
  • A proof of address that is too old

The client area shows the status of each document as it moves through the check. Once both are accepted, you can fund your account.
